I am currently an affiliate. It does work you can make money, I did. try it, see what happens. I try to make at least $10 a month because that is the mininum payout via direct deposit. The most I have made was $31. Maybe that is nothing to sneeze at for you but I enjoy every penny I make. It's free to set up. You have nothing to lose.

I had to do alot of research to figure out how to get sales. I watched YouTube videos mostly. But going to the affiliate group also helps.
